Renewable Energy is Growing As India Is Pursuing its Mission

There is a group of companies, Reliance Powers, which the Indian government has chosen to construct 470MW of solar power within the country.

Reliance Power together with Lanco Infratech are amidst the companies that have been awarded a lease to expand the use of clean energy.

The renewable industry is growing in India. According to Bloomberg, the government is providing subsidies to assure the expansion of the low carbon transport space. A total sum of $21 million has been devised as incentives for electric and hybrid vehicles. The scheme will be provided up to 2012.

The Indian government might also start to finance R$D of new electric vehicles. An additional 35 MW of clean energy is expected to be reached by 2015.

The goal of augmenting the use of renewable energy and decreasing the level carbon emission is implemented through various schemes. Currently, the country has invested $55 billion to boost the growth of the industry.
